Warriors interim coach Luke Walton's car stolen in Oakland

Although the Golden State Warriors are off to a blazing 15-0 start under coach Luke Walton, not everything is perfect in the interim head coach's world.

Walton's Mercedes-Benz was one of many cars stolen last week in a crime spree in Oakland Hills, California. Walton's car was later crashed in East Oakland.

The car was stolen by two suspects who are wanted for attacking a 75-year-old woman, according to a district attorney involved with the case.

One of the suspects, Lamonte Campbell, was arrested Monday morning and charged with car-jacking, assault, first-degree residential burglary, unlawful driving or taking of a vehicle, and evading an officer with willful disregard.

Although we're sad to hear Walton's car was stolen and then totaled, we have a feeling the Warriors coach is going to be alright.

The defending NBA champion Warriors can set an NBA record by winning their first 16 games of regular season with a W over the Lakers Tuesday night at home.
