The Warriors have signed guard Jerome Robinson to a two-way contract, giving the former first-round draft pick another shot to stick in the NBA.
Robinson, 26, is 6-foot-4 and was selected with the No. 13 overall pick in 2018. He played his two seasons with the Clippers before being traded to the Wizards. His best season came in 2018-19, when he averaged 9.4 points and 3.3 rebounds in 21 games with Washington.
He signed a deal with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League in January, appearing in 24 games and averaging 14.8 points on 46 percent shooting, including 37 percent on 3-pointers.
Robinson joins guard Lester Quinones and center Usman Garuba as the Warriors’ two-way players.
Per Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Robinson may have to compete with other training camp invitees to hang on to the third two-way spot.
