Houston Rockets forward Dillon Brooks Petre Thomas-USA TODAY Sports

Dillon Brooks managed to get ejected in the most Dillon Brooks way possible.

Brooks and the Houston Rockets lost to the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night by a 128-119 final score. With less than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter and the game already decided, Brooks sold some contact from Milwaukee’s Khris Middleton while chasing a loose ball out of bounds. Official Suyash Mehta didn’t buy it at all, though, calling Brooks for a flopping violation (a one-shot technical foul).

That angered Dillon The Villain, who began arguing with Mehta over the call. Mehta responded by assessing Brooks with a second technical foul, disqualifying Brooks from the game (albeit all 38.9 seconds left of it).

The incident resulted in the ejection of Rockets head coach Ime Udoka as well. Here's the video.

Take a look at a couple more angles of the play.

Brooks may have an argument that he was legitimately fouled on the play, but he definitely embellished it a little. For a player who has been known as a major flopper since his college days, Brooks might just be The Forward Who Cried Wolf at this point.

At least Brooks got ejected from a game that actually mattered instead of a preseason game like last time.
