Watch: Donovan Mitchell helps Cavaliers regain lead in third quarter vs. Magic

Throughout his career, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell has always seemed to find a way to turn it on in the playoffs. He's doing just that in Game 7 against the Orlando Magic.

Mitchell scored 17 points in the third quarter, helping the Cavs earn a 76-68 lead, their largest of the game. Thus far, Mitchell has 32 points, six rebounds and four assists on 10-of-22 shooting. The winner of this game will face the No. 1 seed Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Mitchell scored 50 points in a 103-96 loss in Game 6. He seemed confident that he and the Cavaliers would step up in Game 7.

"All the stuff you've done for six games really goes out the window. It's all about desperation and will," Mitchell said, via the Associated Press. "How do we find ways to continually be relentless? I have no doubt that we'll show up. I have no doubt Cleveland will show up."

Clearly, he's keeping his promise.

Mitchell has turned in some epic playoff games. According to Basketball Reference, he's scored 50 or more points in the playoffs three times in his career. If the Cavaliers beat the Magic, this could be one of his best performances.
