It’s hard to get tired of these stories. Young athletes buying their parents cars and homes as a way to thank them for their support growing up.

We can now add Memphis Grizzlies youngster and likely NBA Rookie of the Year Ja Morant to that list.

Check out Morant surprise his father, Tee, with a sweet new ride.

That really is something special. There’s obviously other ways to thank your parents for being supportive. Trying the hardest you can to be the best possible man. Succeeding in your career. Being an honest man.

Even then, something like this is always nice to see.

Interestingly enough, Morant’s father was a high school teammate of Pro Basketball Hall of Fame guard Ray Allen. He now has a son starring in the NBA and on a major upward trajectory.

Life is good for this family.
