Watch: Jaylen Brown leads Celtics on 11-point run before halftime

Boston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown is on a mission this postseason.

At the end of the second quarter in Game 2 against the Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs, the Celtics went on an 11-3 run. Brown scored every point during this stretch.

Through the first two quarters, Brown had 21 points, five rebounds and one assist on 9-of-15 shooting. Boston led Miami 61-58 at halftime.

Brown probably wants redemption after the Celtics lost to the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals last season. In a 114-94 victory against Miami in Game 1, he scored 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting. He also logged eight rebounds, three assists and one block.

Brown and Celtics small forward Jayson Tatum are one of the best duos in the NBA, but they're still looking for their first ring. This may be one of their best chances, as Boston finished with the best record (64-18) in the NBA. The Celtics haven't won a title since 2007-08.
