Watch: Lakers' LeBron James gets his revenge on Patrick Beverley

Patrick Beverley wanted to knock the Lakers out of the playoffs. LeBron James said "Hell no!"

Beverley and the Chicago Bulls tried to make it two straight wins over the Lakers, but James and his teammates shut them down. Never was that more obvious than when Beverley tried to pump fake his old teammate early in the first quarter.

James shouted "Hell no!" as Beverley repeatedly pump faked, before retreating to miss a three-pointer with James' hand in his face. Beverley finished 0-5, all from the outside, as James may have scared him out of the paint for good.

After Los Angeles traded away Beverley, who started every game he played for the Lakers, he declared that his goal was to knock the Lakers out of the playoffs. Sunday, he made good on his plans, defeating the Lakers at home and even hitting James with a "too small" celebration.

Wednesday night, Austin Reaves scored on Beverley and "avenged" his teammate with his own "too small."

“That AR always got my back. Always," James told reporters after the game. "Even though he loved Kobe back in the day more than me. I forgive him."

For his part, Beverley wasn't mad. And losing didn't dampen his spirit at all. In fact, he hit James with a Dikembe Mutombo finger wag after knocking away a pass.

Will Beverley ever change? Hell no!
