An opportunity to play on national television can be a great showcase for some of the game’s most exciting young players. Denver Nuggets guard Gary Harris used that opportunity to posterize his opponent Thursday night.

Harris looked to attack the New Orleans Pelicans early in the first quarter. He drove past Lonzo Ball off the dribble, then soared into the air and through down a one-handed slam in the face of center Jahlil Okafor.

Okafor tried to come over and help make a defensive play at the rim, but his effort was punished with a monster dunk in his face on national television.

Harris has proven he can score from all over the court, and it might be best if opponents get out of his way when he’s coming through for the slam.
