Sam Hauser was touted as an elite shooter when he entered the NBA undrafted. After a year of bouncing back and forth between Maine and Boston, and getting only minimal run with the big boys, Hauser has taken full advantage of this year's opportunity.

With Daniel Theis being traded to Indiana, Danilo Gallinari was expected to snatch up his minutes, but when he went down for the year, Brad Stevens was confident Boston could replace him in house. That in house replacement was Sam Hauser.

Add the clean up knee surgery to Robert Williams, and Hauser has gotten legit minutes in the rotation this year and is shooting the lights out. The above video by the Celtics shows a bit of his journey as well as his words.
