Watch: Stephen Curry trolls Rockets with iconic movie reference

Don't let Stephen Curry's cheerful disposition fool you. The Warriors star can be petty when he needs to be. And he keeps receipts.

On Thursday, for example, Curry mocked the Rockets from the bench when his Warriors were up 126-104 with 1:48 left in the game.

The sharpshooter was seen holding three empty bottles across his fingers to recreate the famous scene from the 1979 movie "Warriors" in which actor David Patrick Kelly mocks a rival gang with the "Warriors, come out to play" rhyme while clicking three bottles.

Curry was responding to Rockets player Tari Eason referencing the same 1979 film to trash-talk Golden State last week.

Eason doubled down on his taunting Thursday by wearing a "Warriors, come out to play" t-shirt while sitting on the bench (he's out for the season with a leg injury).

After Thursday's game, Curry confirmed that he was responding to Eason's troll job.

"Yeah absolutely. Having some fun with it," Curry told reporters.

Meanwhile, Klay Thompson took exception with Eason for trolling the Warriors from the sidelines.

"That's pretty lame," Thompson told reporters. "Especially if you're not even playing. It's one thing if you're out there competing and can back it up. But you're just gonna be trolling from the sideline? Bro, what are we doing?"

With Thursday's win, the 10th-seeded Warriors extended their lead over the 11th-seeded Rockets by four games with six games left in the season.

As a result, Steve Kerr's team is almost a shoo-in to make the play-in tournament, which gets underway on April 16.
