Meyers Leonard is coming off a year where he played in nine regular season games for the Milwaukee Bucks (he also appeared in two NBA playoff games).

He averaged 4.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per contest while shooting 48.3% from the field and 38.9% from the three-point range.

This summer, Leonard became a free agent, and he still remains available to be signed by any team in the league on October 17.

Leonard was initially the 11th pick in the 2012 NBA Draft out of Illinois.

In addition to the Bucks, he has also played for the Miami Heat and Portland Trail Blazers over ten seasons in the NBA.

He has career averages of 5.6 points and 3.9 rebounds per contest while shooting 48.2% from the field and 39.0% from the three-point range in 456 regular season games.

The 31-year-old has also appeared in 30 NBA playoff games and was with the Heat when they made the NBA Finals in 2020.

Since Leonard is still in the prime of his career, he could be a good addition to a contender's bench.

The regular season will begin in less than four weeks, so he will be a name to watch.

As for the Bucks (whom Leonard most recently played for), they are coming off a year where they were the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 58-24 record (the best in the league).

However, they lost to the Miami Heat in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in five games).
