The NBA is all about injuries nowadays. The NBA Injury Report has never been at this height in the history of hoops. Guys are leaving games early due to injuries. There are a lot of players missing games entirely due to injuries as well. Tonight is a very important game not just for the Washington Wizards but for the entire league as well. Tonight is the beginning of the very first In Season NBA Tournament.

Corey Kispert may not be a starter for the Wizards. However, his impact and role equals out to a starter at the end of the day. The Wizards will be without Kispert as a late game scratch due to a left ankle sprain he is dealing with. The Washington Wizards will have to look deep into their bench to fill his role. It will have to be a collective effort as those are some big shoes to fill. We can expect Danilo Gallinari to have an expanded role tonight and maybe even Mike Muscala as well. They both can get dangerous from beyond the ark.

Now, on to some good news ! The Washington Wizards will look forward to having big man Daniel Gafford back in the lineup tonight. His numbers may not indicate it, but he is a huge contributor to this team. He is their anchor down low. The Wizards have been looking to find him on alley oops to get some easy buckets for the big man. Gafford’s defense is where his bread and butter is and he will definitely be called upon and needed to contend with Miami Heat Center Bam Adebayo.
