Wizards star Bradley Beal admits he won't be 100 percent for play-in game vs. Celtics

The Washington Wizards clinched a spot in the play-in tournament thanks in part to the play of superstar guard Bradley Beal. However, the 27-year-old missed time toward the end of the regular season with a hamstring injury.

After returning to the lineup on Sunday in a 115-110 win over the Charlotte Hornets, Beal provided an injury update for Tuesday's play-in game against the Boston Celtics, per The Athletic's Fred Katz.

Beal had an excellent season despite his injury struggles, averaging 31.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game while shooting 48.5% from the field and 34.9% from deep.

Washington won three of its last five games entering the play-in tournament and very well could be favored over a depleted Boston team. The Celtics will be without Jaylen Brown, who suffered a season-ending injury, and a lot will ride on the shoulders of Jayson Tatum.
