After this game Coach Brian Keefe, Kyle Kuzma, Jordan Poole and Johnny Davis spoke to the media. Below are a few notable quotes from the postgame conference.

Coach Brian Keefe

"Our resilience throughout the whole game was great. We obviously had multiple bodies go down; Deni not playing, Bilal go down 5 minutes into the game and then Corey you know got sick during the warm-ups, he wasn't feeling good.

"Jordan and Kyle really stepping up, pushing us but then we had great contributions from  Patrick Baldwin Jr., Johnny Davis, Jared Butler. Those guys came in and gave us really great minutes. Richaun Holmes, who's new to our team. So like the whole team, it was a team effort to get us to the end. I was proud how the guys kept fighting"

Kyle Kuzma

"We did a great job on Donovan Mitchell tonight trying to take him out of the game but they were just a little bit bigger than us. "

Jordan Poole

"Just being able to play with whatever unit I'm in... Bilal got hurt early but I run really well with Bilal. Getting him out in transition, trying to get him easy layups but something that's big personally for my game and I think it helps our team is when I'm able to get out in transition with the defense. It gives guys catch and shoot opportunities."

Johnny Davis

"It's definitely tough but it;s also fun. I love guarding guys like [Donovan Mitchell], you really get to see why they're the best players in the league"
