There’s no denying that NBA star Kyrie Irving is one of the most unique stars in the league. The Dallas Mavericks star is talented and skilled, making him one of the most entertaining players ever. Irving’s ability to toy with the defense with his ball handling, paired with his assorted ways to finish underneath the basket, is what separates him from others. While other stars can do similar moves, no one does it more creatively than the 2016 champion.

The Mavericks are lucky to have a ball-handling wizard in Irving. Since he started getting attention in his time at Duke University, fans have admired him. His various career highlight reels in the league are often the most-watched videos on the web.

On Thursday, Irving watched his highlight tape during a live stream broadcast on the platform Twitch. As he watched the best plays of his career, he gave a confident yet honest assessment of what he’s done in the NBA.

Y’all will never see another player like me, ever,” Irving said. “Never see another player like me, and I’m fine with that. But you will see somebody better, for sure… I’m cut from a different cloth.”

What the Dallas Mavericks star might be true. Irving is a one-of-a-kind player in the league and has made a name for himself because of it. Not only is he a flashy star player, but he’s also proven to be a winner.

Fans are looking forward to his return next season. Although the Mavericks haven’t given a clear return date for Irving, there’s an expectation that he’ll make his regular-season debut later in the campaign.

The future is bright for the Dallas Mavericks. Despite Irving’s injury, the team has a young star whom they can depend on if the older stars either retire or leave the team: Cooper Flagg. The former Duke forward was drafted in June with the No. 1 pick, and there’s a ton of expectation from the fans.

Even other athletes have been vocal about their excitement over the star forward. Recently, Kansas City Chiefs’ star quarterback Patrick Mahomes expressed his eagerness to see how Flagg can help the NBA franchise.

“[It’s] exciting for me to win the draft lottery, a roller coaster of emotions, and getting Cooper Flagg now, it’s going to be an amazing team,” the NFL star said in an interview with For The Win. “Get everybody back healthy, and we’ll have as good a chance as anybody at making a run at the title this next year.”

During the Summer League, Flagg played two games for the Dallas Mavericks. He didn’t have the best first game, but played better in his second outing with 31 points against the San Antonio Spurs.
