When thinking about players who have drastically changed the game, perhaps none have made a bigger impact than Warriors star Steph Curry.

One of his biggest rivals, Portland guard Damian Lillard seems to agree, as he pointed out on The Dan Patrick Show.

"Steph has two MVPs, a unanimous MVP, back-to-back titles, three total titles, the resume is there. So I think if you asked 10 people, seven of them or eight of them would probably come back and say Steph is right behind Magic in the way he has changed the game and the excitement with his style of play," Lillard told Dan Patrick on Thursday.

Curry's three-point shooting has revolutionized the game to a point where long-distance shooting, more than ever, has become its central theme.

Nowadays, it has become critically important for players to have some degree of shooting ability, even bigs, who have traditionally been paint-oriented scorers.

It's Curry's game that inspired guys like Lillard, Buddy Hield, Trae Young, and even LaMelo Ball to expand their own range.

So, love him or hate him, it is abundantly clear that Stephen Curry is among the most impactful players basketball has ever seen. For that alone, he deserves an extraordinary amount of credit.
