DeMar DeRozan loved watching Raptors' 2019 NBA title run

The Raptors won their first NBA title in 2019, defeating the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, and Former Raptor DeMar DeRozan loved watching his old team shine in the Finals, particularly old teammate Pascal Siakam.

Siakam was one of the best players for Toronto throughout the entire playoffs, and DeRozan, now with the San Antonio Spurs, couldn't help but be happy for Siakam and his former team.

"That was the best sh*t ever," DeRozan told Siakam on Instagram Live on Monday.

Siakam averaged 19.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the six NBA Finals games while shooting 50.5 percent from the field.

The Raptors made the playoffs in five of DeRozan's nine seasons in Toronto but never managed to get to the Finals. After getting bounced by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round in 2018, DeRozan was traded for current Clippers star Kawhi Leonard, who took home Finals MVP for the Raptors last year.

At least DeRozan appreciates what his former teammates accomplished without him as he continues to seek a championship of his own.
