Eastern Conference Recaps, Feb. 26: Jrue Holiday’s 33 Points Leads Milwaukee Bucks Past Phoenix Suns

With Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined because of a knee injury, Jrue Holiday made sure the Milwaukee Bucks’ win streak continued.

He scored 33 points to lead the Bucks to a 104-101 victory against the Phoenix Suns, their 14th straight win. Brook Lopez, who finished with 22 points and 13 rebounds, made a tiebreaking layup with 24 seconds left. Devin Booker led the Suns with 24 points and had a chance to tie the game again but turned the ball over against Holiday.

“That’s just the defender he is, the player he is,” Lopez said. “He’s one of the top two-way players in the league, at least the top three. Just absolutely phenomenal. Just the best two-way player in the league. Those are the plays he makes just time and time again.”

Deandre Ayton had 22 points and 11 rebounds and Chris Paul had 18 points.
