The Minnesota Timberwolves are in the driver's seat in their series against the Golden State Warriors, as they're up 3-1 and after winning Game 4 117-110. Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards had 30 points (11-21 FG, 6-11 3 PT) with four rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 33 minutes.
The 2020 No. 1 overall pick led Minnesota to the Western Conference Finals last season and is poised to do the same this year. That would be two Conference Finals appearances in just five seasons, while Ja Morant has yet to lead the Memphis Grizzlies there since entering the league in 2019.
The Murray State alum was once considered one of the most promising stars in the Western Conference, but has faded into the background while peers like Edwards and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander take the spotlight.
However, Morant showed Edwards love on social media during the latter's standout performance on Monday.
The 25-year-old posted an ant emoji, referring to Edwards' "Ant" nickname. He's also called "Ant-Man."
Edwards was fourth in the NBA with 27.6 points per game on 44.7 percent shooting (39.5 percent 3 PT) this season. The 23-year-old's scoring average and three-point percentage were both career highs.

Morant and the Grizzlies were swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round after beating the Dallas Mavericks in the eighth-seed Play-In. The star guard got hurt in Game 3 after playing 16 minutes, but Memphis lost just 117-115 without him in Game 4.
Meanwhile, the Timberwolves will face the winner of the Thunder-Denver Nuggets series if they advance. Oklahoma City and Denver are tied 2-2.
