Jalen Brunson shows resilience, makes Knicks history in ECF Game 2 win

Despite some early struggles shooting wise, the New York Knicks managed to pull off another convincing win on Thursday night. With a strong second half, the Knicks beat the Cleveland Cavaliers, 109-93, to take a commanding 2-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals. 

Showing his true worth as a leader, Jalen Brunson made sure he found a way to contribute even while scoring only two points throughout the entire first half. After going just 1-for-6 from the field in both the first and second quarters combined, Brunson finished with 19 points thanks to six second-half field goals and a big three-pointer.

But even though his resilience resulted in eventually finding ways to score, Brunson's performance stands out for how much he set up others, most notably his teammate, Josh Hart, who put up a postseason career-high 26 points. 

Brunson, who averaged 26.0 points in regular season and scored 38 in the Knicks' epic Game 1 comeback, still found a way to lead his team to victory even in the midst of an "off" shooting game.
