Knicks vs. Cavaliers – Game 3 ECF: Prediction, Odds, and Injury Updates (May 23)

The Cleveland Cavaliers underwent a roster overhaul following their Round 2 loss to the Indiana Pacers last year. And while the move saw the Cavaliers reach the Eastern Conference finals, things are looking quite wobbly for the team. With two games now gone, the team has yet to register a victory. Trailing 0-2 to the New York Knicks, a couple of more losses will send them packing. 

Luckily, the team has shown a fighting spirit throughout the playoffs. With both of their round 1 and 2 series going to Game 7, it is a given that the Cavaliers might not go down without a strong fight. Losing Game 2 93-109, James Harden and co. struggled to find their footing. Harden scored 18 points while Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen chimed in with 14 and 13 points, respectively. With only Donovan Mitchell putting up some fight (26 points), the road ahead will not be easy for Cleveland. 

On the contrary, for the Knicks, things look to be going perfectly fine. As the Cavaliers’ defense focused heavily on Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, it was Josh Hart who took the game away with 26 points, seven assists, and two steals. Now, with an all-important Game 3 coming up, fans will be eager to see how things pan out between the two teams.
