Kyle Kuzma Calls Out Floppers While Defending LeBron James: "Guys That Drive Hard To The Rim Playing Strong Get Nothing!!!"
Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Kyle Kuzma sent a big message to the NBA while defending LeBron James after the controversial non-call against the Boston Celtics.

LeBron James is the talk of the town in the NBA today and not for the best reasons. The King hasn't done anything bad, but he was involved in one of the most controversial plays of the 2022-23 NBA season on Saturday night against the Boston Celtics.

As he drove to the basket with a couple of seconds left on the clock, Jayson Tatum committed a foul but the referees ignored that, sending the game to overtime, where the Celtics would win, 125-121.

This situation sparked a lot of reactions around the league, and LeBron hasn't minced words when talking about it, sharing his surprise with the way things have developed for him and the Los Angeles Lakers recently.

Kyle Kuzma Supports LeBron James After Controversial Non-Call Against Celtics

James received a lot of support from fans and even rival players, and one of his former teammates took to social media to call out floppers and referees for acting the wrong way while others are getting away with terrible plays. Kyle Kuzma took a shot at floppers while defending LeBron, calling him somebody who goes to the rim without fear.

Agreeed though!! You got guys that flop and do soft stuff going to the line 8-9+ times a night, but guys that drive hard to the rim playing strong get nothing!!!

These two have been very close, even after Kuz was traded to the Washington Wizards in 2021. He's always looked up to LeBron James and even now that they aren't on the same team, Kuzma keeps having James' back. This was a really painful defeat to the Lakers, who were really close to beating the C's, showing that they can be really competitive against anybody.

After beating the Portland Trail Blazers and Memphis Grizzlies in consecutive games, they wanted to continue their good moment with a win against the best team in the league right now. It seems like they'll have to wait before beating their archrivals, and all thanks to the referees.
