With NBA training camps just a couple of months away, players on the fringe of the league are already looking to make their case — and several did just that this week at a CSE-hosted pro day in Las Vegas.
According to RG.org’s Spencer Davies, the showcase drew multiple team representatives and featured several players with NBA or G League experience, including guards Isaiah Wong, Izaiah Brockington and Chasson Randle. A handful of international veterans were also on the court, such as forward Pedro Bradshaw and big man Garrison Brooks.
Wong, 24, has had “productive” conversations with the Utah Jazz, per Davies. He spent time with the Jazz last preseason and opened the 2024-25 with their G League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars, before finishing the season with the Charlotte Hornets.
The former Miami Hurricanes standout was a second-round pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and has continued to generate buzz as a potential camp invite. His combination of shot creation and downhill scoring remains intriguing for teams looking to shore up their backcourt depth.
Brooks, a former Mississippi State center, and Bradshaw, who played for the Sioux Falls Skyforce last season, are among the names drawing some interest as possible training camp additions. Randle, a veteran of multiple NBA stops and recent international stints, is also aiming for a return to the league.
While no deals have been finalized, events like this often help fill out the back half of training camp rosters and offer veterans a fresh look. With Summer League winding down, eyes now turn to September, when the next wave of NBA opportunity begins to take shape.
