Ben Simmons' Brooklyn Nets debut, and his return to NBA action following 10 months of dramatic twists and turns, could finally be coming on Monday.
Brooklyn Nets three-time All-Star Ben Simmons plans to make his season debut in Game 4 vs. Boston on Monday as long as rehab remains on course, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Simmons is set to play his first game since June 2021.

Simmons was ruled out by head coach Steve Nash for Game 2 the day before the contest and although Nash remained noncommittal on the three-time All-Star's Game 3 status. It now seems probable that his debut will come early next week. What is more uncertain is whether Simmons' debut will come with the Nets facing elimination.
Boston stole Game 1 on Sunday thanks to a buzzer-beating, game-winning layup by Jayson Tatum and were led by Jaylen Brown in a come-from-behind Game 2 win. The series will shift to Brooklyn for Game 3 on Saturday.
The former Philadelphia 76ers point guard's last NBA contest was Game 7 of the team's stunning second-round playoff exit against the Atlanta Hawks last spring.
