The Houston Rockets are expected to part ways with DeMarcus Cousins, and it appears at least one team will be interested in signing him.
According to The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor, the Los Angeles Lakers will be among the teams to pursue Cousins:

The market will be limited for Cousins, sources say. He has struggled this year after returning from multiple major injuries. But for LA or any team in need of big man depth, few options bring higher upside.
Although the Rockets reportedly guaranteed Cousins' salary for the rest of the season earlier this month, they have a desire to get younger in the frontcourt.
This gives the Lakers an opportunity to reunite with Cousins, who signed with the franchise last season but did not play due to injury. With Anthony Davis set to miss four weeks due to a calf strain and Achilles tendinosis, Cousins would provide the Lakers with some insurance.
Cousins is averaging 9.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game this season while shooting 37.6% from the field and 33.6% from deep.
