Shaquille O’Neal’s incredible generosity has been well documented at this point. Shaq is one of the wealthiest players in NBA history. But throughout the years, Shaq has made it a mission in life to try and give back as much as possible. And in one of his most heart-warming moments, O’Neal helped a young boy buy a bike while he was at the store.

Shaquille O’Neal was at a store buying something. He found a young boy and asked him if he had a bike. When the kid said no, Shaq asked the kid to ask his mother if he could buy the kid a bike. Shaq then took the kid and his parents to buy him a bike. O’Neal noted that he made a promise to himself a while ago that every time he goes to a shop, he would help someone and buy them something.

“Do you have a bike. Ask your mom if I can buy you a bike, make it quick. Whenever I go to a store from now on, I’m buying somebody else something, period. Every day I leave the house, I gotta bless somebody. I can’t… I can’t keep all this. I try to do something positive, I try to life a person’s spirit. If I stick to those principles, I think I’m doing pretty good as a man in a society.”

This is far from O’Neal’s most generous acts. Recently, he scolded a young boy for getting angry with his parents for not buying his shoes and then bought the kid two pairs of shoes. On top of that, he once bought a young mother a few laptops after seeing her struggle to buy them for her children.

O’Neal is one of the most giving athletes in history. He once spoke about how he gave a restaurant server $4000 just because they asked for it. There is no denying that Shaq is incredibly kind to people, and we hope that his random acts of kindness and generosity never stop.
