Team USA: Stephen Curry’s Epic Look-Away Three vs. Serbia Is Blowing Up Online
John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry was up to his usual antics on Sunday as Team USA cruised to a 110-84 victory in their Olympic opener against Serbia. Curry, who got the nod to start, logged just 21 minutes in this one, finishing with 11 points, three rebounds, and three assists.

The GOAT shooter also knocked down three triples against Nikola Jokic and Co., but there is no doubt as to which one of his treys stands out among the bunch.

Team USA News: Stephen Curry Goes Viral

Curry launched one from deep with just seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. The Warriors superstar knew that the ball was going to hit the bottom of the net the moment it left his hands. It was at that point that Steph decided to debut his famed look-away trey at the Olympic stage.

Below is an even colder angle of the massive triple, which served as an emphatic exclamation point for Team USA’s win over Jokic and the Serbian national squad.

The video has already garnered over a million views as of writing, and I’m certain that that number will only shoot up in the coming days.

Curry may not have come out with a mind-blowing performance in his Olympic debut, but he made sure to leave his mark in Team USA’s opening victory.

Next up for Curry and the rest of the squad is a matchup against Japan on Monday.
