The Golden State Warriors moved to 7-6 after a 125-120 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.

After starting Tuesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder and scoring 13 points, Jonathan Kuminga came off the bench Wednesday against the Spurs.

Kuminga was forced to exit the game early with a knee injury, failing to score a point and finishing with four rebounds in just 12 minutes.

His status for Friday's rematch against the Spurs remained up in the air as of Thursday, and on Friday, the official verdict came ahead of the Emirates NBA Cup Game in San Antonio.

Shortly after the shootaround, his official status came in.

"Jonathan Kuminga is out for Golden State," via Sam Gordon of The San Francisco Chronicle.

Kuminga is averaging 13.8 points with 6.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists this season, so he has been a key part of Steve Kerr's rotation.

He's scored 20-plus points three times this season, including a season-high 25 against the Memphis Grizzlies on Oct. 27.

Kerr moved rookie Will Richard and Moses Moody into the starting lineup Wednesday in place of Kuminga and second-year center Quinten Post. It will be worth monitoring Kuminga's status going forward.

The Warriors and Spurs tip off at 9:30 p.m. ET on Friday on Amazon Prime Video.
