The Golden State Warriors will be without Steph Curry for Monday's Game 4 matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The former back-to-back MVP is still dealing with a hamstring strain that will force him to miss his third straight game of this series on Tuesday. While there was previously some optimism that Curry would be back for Game 5, it now appears that the soonest he will be able to return is Game 6.
That is, of course, under the assumption that the Warriors, who enter Game 4 down 2-1, will be able to extend this series to a Game 6 on Sunday.
This is exactly why fans were left questioning a glaring mistake by the Warriors right before tip-off. As the team announced their starting lineup for Game 4, they listed Brandin Podziemski as No. 30, which is Curry's number.
The Warriors PR quickly took down the post as soon as they noticed the error, but it wasn't until fans were able to share their reaction to the blunder.

"I saw #30 " a comment on X read.
"Podz aint 30," said another.
"I saw #30 and then…" posted ESPN insider Marc J. Spears.
"New strategy for #Warriors -- put Podziemski in #30 and see if he plays like Curry " reacted a fan.
The fact of the matter is that Curry will not play on Monday night. Taking his place in the starting lineup is Podziemski, who wears the No. 2 jersey.
Podziemski had a forgettable performance in Game 3, finishing with five points on 1-of-10 shooting, eight rebounds and two assists. He will need to do much better on Tuesday night if he hopes to fill some of the void Curry has left with his troubling hamstring injury.
