After spending six seasons with the Chicago Bulls, Jimmy Butler decided it was finally time to move on in his career, and he joined the Minnesota Timberwolves. Unfortunately, Butler's stint with the T-Wolves is very remembered for all the wrong reasons.

He was constantly in the headlines for being a locker room cancer. And the entire media believed that Jimmy was the reason why the Timberwolves were struggling to be successful in the NBA.

Well, that turned out to be false as Butler proved his worth with the Miami Heat. Since joining the Heat, Butler looks like a completely different player and has also been to an NBA Finals once.

If the franchise can add another superstar to the roster, it feels almost certain that Butler will leave the team to victory.

But let's shift our focus from that for a while and take a trip down memory lane to Butler's time as a T-Wolves player. Apart from the partnership never working on the court, it seems Butler didn't have a blast off the court either.

Well, we are talking about the time when Jimmy tried canoeing while he was shooting a "Hang Time" segment with ESPN. During the segment, Butler lost his balance and fell off the canoe into the water. For a few seconds, Butler screamed at the top of his lungs as he was certain that he was about to die.

(Starts at 2:25):

Although the incident took place 5 years ago, NBA fans still get a laugh out of it even today. On that note, here's how fans have reacted to the clip over the years:

Aaron Azen: I've watched this at least 15 times. That is the scream of a man who truly believes he's about to die. Amazing.

sokraaaaaaan: It truly never gets old I've watched it 10 times in a row and I'm still laughing like an idiot.

Caps: The way jimmy screamed had me dead.

dielawn: I love Jimmy. Such a kind funny guy. Sure he can be a badass but only when he needs to.

El Trapo: Lmao Jimmy Butler is too big to be screaming like that.

Jeremy Jackson: This video just made me a fan of Jimmy B.

JC: That man thought he was gonna drown in like 3 feet water and two life jackets ... that scream.

shadowkiller20: Now I finally know why Butler didn’t want to play for Timberwolves.

Thrashy Art: When I hear about Minnesota the first thing that comes in to my mind is that it's freezing cold there.

Skeptical Blade: That scream plus the arm movement had me dead.

So as we mentioned earlier, despite the video being 5 years old, NBA fans still get a laugh out of themselves upon seeing Jimmy like this.

Anyway, as for his professional career, Butler is in a much better place now and has proved his talent to the world over the last few years. Considering Butler seems like such a nice guy, fans definitely want to see him win a ring one day.
