The San Francisco 49ers' second week at MetLife Stadium was about as costly as last week's game against the New York Jets. While San Francisco managed to defeat the Giants 36-9, it didn't come out unscathed.
Tight end Jordan Reed, who is filling in for the injured George Kittle, suffered a knee and ankle injury during Sunday's win while cornerback Emmanuel Moseley suffered a concussion. Both players were ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game at halftime.
Reed suffered the leg injury with 1:06 remaining in the first when he attempted to drag his feet in the back of the end zone on a throw from Nick Mullens. He was unable to make the catch and immediately grabbed his left leg going to the ground.

Moseley's injury happened on the first play of the second quarter as he converged with safety Jaquiski Tartt on Giants quarterback Daniel Jones.
The loss of Reed and Moseley is huge considering how many injuries how affected San Francisco's roster. Dee Ford, Jimmy Garoppolo, Dre Greenlaw, Raheem Mostert and Kittle all were inactive after suffering injuries against the Jets last week.
San Francisco is also without Richard Sherman, Deebo Samuel, Richie James Jr. and Tevin Coleman, who are on injured reserve. Nick Bosa, Solomon Thomas and Jalen Hurd all are out for the season with ACL tears.
