We are just over one month away from the 2025 NFL Draft, and speculation is heating up.

The Los Angeles Chargers have 10 picks, which is the third-most in the league. That provides them a huge opportunity not only to fill their remaining roster holes, but to find quality talent that they will have control over for multiple years on cheap rookie contracts.

A to Z Sports draft guru Ryan Roberts released a three-round mock draft on Tuesday, which included some exciting and logical picks for the Chargers. Let's take a look at his selections for Los Angeles and break them down.

No. 22: TE Colston Loveland, Michigan

"This selection has become a staple in mock drafts. Tight end is a major need, and Loveland can fill it quickly. He obviously also has a close relationship with head coach Jim Harbaugh." - A to Z Sports college football and NFL draft analyst Ryan Roberts

Loveland would be an obvious pick for the Chargers to make if he's still available for them. Quarterback Justin Herbert needs more weapons, specifically a legitimate TE.

Loveland set career highs in receptions (56) and touchdown catches (five) with Michigan in 2024, but his highest amount of receiving yards (649) came in 2023 under Harbaugh. At 6-foot-6, Loveland is a matchup nightmare and already possesses the receiving skills of a veteran NFL TE.

No. 55: DT T.J. Sanders, South Carolina

"There aren’t many who are more athletically gifted than Sanders. He is smooth, explosive, and versatile. When he’s at his best, Sanders is at attack-style player who makes a ton of plays behind the line of scrimmage." - A to Z Sports college football and NFL draft analyst Ryan Roberts

Sanders could start right off the bat at nose tackle and fill the void left by Poona Ford. Sanders is a concrete wall who is tough to move, who also possesses great hand and feet fundamentals. He isn't the most fluid athlete, but he will clog up rushing lanes and collapse the pock up the middle against quarterbacks. Sanders recorded 8.5 sacks over his final two years at South Carolina.

No. 86: WR Tai Felton, Maryland

"Felton has a chance to rise following a huge final season with Maryland. Felton is an incredibly smooth pass catcher who brings big time speed and acceleration to the table. We have seen Felton utilized on multiple levels of the field as a receiver, as well as in the screen game." - A to Z Sports college football and NFL draft analyst Ryan Roberts

This would fill another need for the Chargers, as they could use a speedy WR who can not just stretch the field, but rack up yards after the catch in the short passing game. Felton would complement Ladd McConkey well and could contribute on special teams. Felton was incredibly productive in 2024 for Maryland, catching 96 passes for 1,124 yards and nine touchdowns.
