2017 NFL Mock Draft, March 17 edition

The Browns are doing their due diligence on Deshaun Watson, but Garrett is still the overwhelming favorite to be the No. 1 pick in the draft. He's a once in a generation talent at defensive end.

San Francisco signed a bridge quarterback in Brian Hoyer, which gives the team time to draft and develop a quarterback who isn't ready right away like Trubisky. The former UNC quarterback was only a full-time starter for one year with the Tar Heels.

The Bears apparently found their quarterback after signing Mike Glennon to a long-term deal and can now turn back to the defense. They brought in Prince Amukamara to help in the secondary but can still use some reinforcements. Adams is a potentially elite talent at the position.

Allen didn't have the best combine, but the highly productive former Crimson Tide defender has the skill to help the Jaguars immediately. He'd provide a boost for a team that's had a good offseason, adding big-money cornerback A.J. Bouye, defensive end Calais Campbell and left tackle Branden Albert.

Tennessee addressed its secondary in free agency by adding Johnathan Cyprien and Logan Ryan, but the Titans haven't done much to address their offense. Wide receiver seems like a target for one of their first-round picks, if not both, and Ross has game-changing speed.

The Jets are in a position to take the best player available with one of the least talented rosters in football. Aside from adding offensive line help, they have been bleeding talent this offseason, and Lattimore has the upside to be a big part of their defense.

Thomas adds another potential bookend for the Chargers, who drafted star in the making Joey Bosa last season.

Carolina will almost certainly address running back this offseason. While older options like Jamaal Charles and Adrian Peterson remain on the market, that doesn't positively address the injury issues the Panthers have had at the position. Fournette has injury concerns of his own but brings huge potential.

Cincinnati has been quiet in free agency and certainly would like to get younger at cornerback. Humphrey is a talented corner who could play immediately.

Pairing a capable target with Sammy Watkins should be a high priority for the Bills, and putting another Clemson star next to him would be even better. Williams' height makes an excellent complement to Watkins' speed.

The Saints added draft picks after trading Brandin Cooks and can afford to take some high-upside risks with them. McKinley fits that profile, with the ceiling of a great pass rusher.

Could Watson fall this far? If teams drafted on talent, it would be very possible. With the desperation of NFL teams to find a quarterback, we'll just have to wait and see. Cleveland is taking a long look at Watson.

Finding a cornerback to pair with Patrick Peterson is still a need for the Cardinals, as is finding a replacement for Calais Campbell. Unless the team takes a development prospect at quarterback, it seems like that Arizona will address the defense.

Philadelphia addressed wide receiver in free agency with Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith, so cornerback is more likely a need it'll fulfill in the draft. Tabor's lack of speed could be a red flag, but he has been productive at Florida.

The Colts made a big splash by adding defensive help with Jabaal Sheard, but the writing is on the wall for them to address the offensive line in the draft. New GM Chris Ballard helped build a talented young offensive line in Kansas City, and Bolles would be a giant piece for Indy.

Wide receiver help is certainly a need for the Ravens, but taking Charlton seems like a terrific fit as John Harbaugh looks toward a player that his brother helped develop at Michigan. Charlton adds much-needed youth behind Terrell Suggs.

Washington tried to address running back over the last two years with Matt Jones and Robert Kelley, but it's unclear they haven't gotten it right. Cook has the talent to end the discussion and add an important element for what's developing into a strong offense.

The Titans would do well to get Hooker at this spot, as he could certainly go in the top 10. They've added cornerback help this offseason, but safety is still an area to address.

With Doug Martin's future in flux and Charles Sims unable to stay healthy, Tampa Bay could be looking at running back again. McCaffrey is a surefire first-round pick with the versatility to help as a runner, receiver and return man. He could make a contribution reminiscent of former Bucs running back Warrick Dunn.

Denver remains in the market for a left tackle after letting Russell Okung walk. Robinson is considered the top offensive tackle on the board by some analysts and would certainly address the Broncos' need.

Detroit has really beefed up its offensive line, signing right tackle Rick Wagner and guard T.J. Lang for big money. Now it's time to find a more dynamic running back to run through the holes, and Kamara fills the void with more explosiveness than incumbent Zach Zenner.

The Dolphins acquired Julius Thomas from the Jags via trade, but it remains to be seen if he's the answer at tight end for Miami. Regardless, Howard has the ability to help as a blocker and receiver immediately in Adam Gase's offense.

Adding a running back is a possibility for the Giants if there's one worth taking at No. 23. However, the Giants also have their share of needs on defense despite the strides they made last season. McDowell addresses one need on the interior of the defensive line.

Foster's stock fell after his eventful combine in which he was sent home, but he still has as much ability to help a team immediately as almost any player in the draft. Oakland's defense held it back last season, and Foster could take the run defense to the next level.

If the Texans are looking for a quarterback, and if they eventually add Tony Romo, as some expect, they will need to protect him. No matter who is under center, adding a talented tackle like Ramczyk is almost a necessity for the Texans.

The versatile Peppers is still a very good potential fit for Seattle, despite one of the best secondaries in the NFL. He can contribute in nickel and dime packages immediately, while also playing some linebacker.

K.C. made up for the giant loss of nose tackle Dontari Poe by signing Bennie Logan. Adding explosion to the offense is always welcome, even after what Tyreek Hill added last season. Jones has been one of the workout fiends of the offseason and was extremely productive in college.

Jerry Jones craves pass rushers, and the offense is set for the most part after bringing back Terrance Williams. Harris has rare pass-rushing upside for the end of the first round despite struggling in an adjusted scheme at Mizzou last season.

After losing T.J. Lang in free agency, guard becomes a need for the Packers. They'll also certainly be in the market for a running back, but value can be found at that position later in the draft.

Njoku brings far more upside than Jesse James, while Ladarius Green's future could be in doubt due to concussion issues. Njoku might not be able to contribute immediately, but he's got long-term upside.

Atlanta addressed its run defense with Dontari Poe, so now the Falcons have a chance to turn toward the secondary in the draft. Desmond Trufant's return from injury should already make them better, and adding Jackson could complete a dynamic secondary.

The Saints acquired New England's first-round choice for Brandin Cooks. Always in need of defensive help, Jones would be a development prospect after tearing his Achilles in his pro day. He won't play in 2017, but he could pay off as a stash.
