Looks like Josh Allen has gained his biggest supporter in the form of Damien Woody . The Buffalo Bills quarterback entered this season with great expectations, however, things didn’t go as planned resulting in a 9-6 season-standing. But the sole credit for the Bills’ recent surge goes to Allen and his brilliant gameplays.

The Bills had quite an inconsistent start this season, with Sean McDermott rumored to be on borrowed time while Stefon Diggs was inclined toward a trade. Amidst the whole drama, the whole pressure to lead to Bills fell onto the shoulder of quarterback Allen with no solid backing.

This led to some sporadic plays by Allen that gave his critics a lot of opportunities to question his credibility. But that didn’t stop the star quarterback from trying and he eventually proved that he really is a prime NFL player and in the MVP race as well. And because of his brilliant gameplay, the Bills were able to beat off the unbeatable Dallas Cowboys in week 15. And it is because of that only, the Bills are clinching onto the playoff hopes with a three-game winning streak.

Allen’s spectacular didn’t conceal from the eyes of two-time Super Bowl champion Damien Woody, who claimed that the Bills’ star QB is on the “Hall of Fame” trajectory.

Woody said on ESPN’s First Take recent episode:

I think Josh Allen is on a 'Hall of Famer' trajectory. I think he has the type of skill set. Let me just go back to what Bills was talking about, I think there's a lot of Truth in that. Obviously, we talk about the trade for Stefon Diggs kind of propel Josh Allen to a whole different level. That's what you're supposed to do with a lot of young quarterbacks but it's just when you see that type of skill set coming into the league with Josh Allen -- the size, the arm, the athletic ability. Damien Woody showers Josh Allen with high praise

While talking about why the Bills’ star quarterback is on the Hall of Famer trajectory, the former New England Patriots player also appreciated the franchise, Buffalo Bills for developing the quarterback Allen to the level that he plays today.

He said:

Josh Allen is one of the rare dual-threat quarterbacks that we have in our game. Damien Woody added

Woody also pointed out how he has been talking about Allen and the turnovers, still, he wouldn’t want to change a thing relating to the turnovers as it will take away the essence of the player he is.

Woody referred to Allen as:

He's a Ferrari..he's like a wild horse. That's the type of guy that you want out there playing the game of football. Damien Woody on Josh Allen

This season, the Bills’ star QB is ranked sixth in passing yards with 3,778 yards. He’s tied third in terms of touchdowns with 27 total, and 10th in interceptions with 15.
