The 2024 NFL Draft is now only days away and while the Philadelphia Eagles bolstered their roster in free agency, they still have holes to fill which they will take care of with eight picks in the draft.

The Eagles' top draft needs heading into the draft are at linebacker, cornerback and offensive line.

It's more than likely that they address one of those positions with their No. 22 pick in the first round.

Below we'll take a look at three elite prospects from each position that could be available for the Eagles when they're on the clock.

LB Edgerrin Cooper, Texas A&M

Linebacker isn't a position that's typically selected in the first round but the Eagles desperately need one. They might not want to take their chance of waiting until the second round.

Cooper, a 6-foot-3 and 230-pound off-ball linebacker, had an impressive final season for the Aggies in 2023. He registered 84 total tackles and a team-high 17 tackles for loss and was one of just two SEC off-ball linebackers to finish with at least eight sacks this past year.

He is the best off-ball linebacker in this year's draft class.

The Eagles have scheduled a top-30 visit with Cooper ahead of the draft, so there is a lot of interest there.

A dream scenario would be for the Eagles to land cornerback Quinyon Mitchell, though if we're being realistic, then Cooper DeJean is the next best thing and maybe even better.

DeJean's versatility is what makes him such a valuable first-round draft prospect since he's played everywhere from outside cornerback to slot corner and safety during his time with the Hawkeyes.

In his final two years at Iowa, DeJean registered an outstanding 120 total tackles, 20 passed defended and seven interceptions, including three returned for a touchdown. He was also a standout punt returner for the Hawkeyes, returning 31 punts for 406 yards and one touchdown.

The Eagles' front office has raved over Jean and he is another top-30 visit that's scheduled on their calendar.

OL Troy Fautanu, Washington

Troy Fautanu is another versatile prospect with experience playing both at left tackle and guard during his time at Washington.

As a two-year starter for the Huskies, Fautanu gave up just two sacks through 40 games with 28 starts.

He was named to All-Pac-12 second-team honors in 2022 and earned first-team honors in 2023. He also won the Morris Trophy last fall, which is given to the best offensive lineman in the Big Ten.

The Eagles have met with him twice already.
