The San Francisco 49ers opened Danny Gray's practice window on December 27. The wide receiver landed on injured reserve on August 30 due to a shoulder injury. Today was the last day to activate Gray from the injured reserve list and make him available to play in a game.

According to Matt Barrows of The Athletic, Gray was not seen during the team's Wednesday practice session, making it clear that he will remain unavailable for the remainder of the postseason.

The 49ers made Gray a third-round draft pick out of SMU in 2022. His only career reception came during Week 14 of his rookie season.

Gray's next opportunity to return to the football field will come during the 2024 season.
