San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle Darren Yamashita-USA TODAY Sports

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle may be facing NFL discipline over the viral shirt he wore under his uniform during Sunday’s win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Kittle revealed after Sunday’s blowout win that he had been wearing a shirt that read “F— Dallas” under his uniform during the game. The league may take action based on a rule banning players from wearing shirts with personal messages, which would carry a roughly $10,000 fine.

Kittle at least backed things up with three touchdowns in a 42-10 blowout victory, and if he is fined, he might decide it was worth it.

This might seem harsh, but the NFL has a long history of very strictly upholding its rules. If Kittle gets a fine over this, he probably should not be surprised.
