San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Arik Armstead was dealing with a foot injury last week, leading to his designation as "questionable" for this past Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Armstead played in the Week 13 contest but eventually exited due to foot and knee injuries.

On Monday, head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters that the 49ers were still gathering information about Armstead's injury, promising more information later in the week.

Shanahan provided an update on Wednesday, saying, "It's not ACL, MCL, nothing I would be able to remember to tell you guys. I'd be surprised if he's ready this week. Still haven't ruled him out yet, but it might be a week or two."

When asked if the 49ers fear a long-term injury for Armstead, Shanahan responded, "I hope not. I can't rule him out for this week, but the fact that I'm saying already that I'd be surprised if he played this week, it's got to see how long it lasts."

As for the rest of the injuries, tight end Ross Dwelley suffered a high-ankle sprain and will miss multiple weeks. Guard Spencer Burford is dealing with a knee injury and will not practice. Cornerback Darrell Luter Jr. is working through a hamstring injury and will not practice.

Shanahan revealed that running back Elijah Mitchell emerged from Sunday's game a little banged up. He is dealing with a knee injury and will not practice.

"His knee was sore, just still sore," Shanahan said of his running back. "But nothing big right now. Just still sore from the game."

Wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud is working his way back from a rib injury and will be a limited practice participant on Wednesday.

The 49ers are preparing for their Week 14 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The two teams will clash on Sunday at Levi's Stadium. It is the second meeting between the NFC West rivals, with the 49ers winning 31-13 on November 23.
