49ers' Jimmy Garoppolo not on injury report with shoulder issue

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo may be as healthy as he's going to get before the offseason as he prepares to face the Los Angeles Rams in Sunday's NFC Championship Game. 

Garoppolo suffered a Grade 3 sprain of the ulnar collateral ligament in his right thumb and chipped bone in Week 16 on Dec. 23, and he's recently also dealt with a "slight" sprain to his right (throwing) shoulder. Per Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk, though, Garoppolo's shoulder wasn't mentioned on Wednesday's injury report. 

The 30-year-old still has a hurting thumb, but head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters his QB1 will be a full participant for Wednesday's practice. 

Garoppolo completed only 11-of-19 passes for 131 yards with no touchdowns and an interception in this past Saturday's 13-10 win at the Green Bay Packers, and he's entering this coming weekend with a 63.0 passer rating and a total QBR of 40.0 across the entire postseason, according to ESPN stats. He's last in both categories among the four remaining starters. 

As PFT's Michael David Smith noted, ticket sales indicate 49ers fans could take SoFi Stadium over on Sunday. 

"It's not something that you can really put your finger on, and you can't see specifically, but you can feel it, you can hear it, and our team responds well to that," Garoppolo remarked Wednesday about the type of advantage such a "road crowd" offers San Francisco, per David Bonilla of 49ers WebZone.
