49ers OL claims Eagles DT said he was going to 'murder' him

San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Jon Feliciano claimed on social media Tuesday night that Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter threatened to "murder" him and mentioned his kids when the two teams played in Week 13.

This was in response to Carter alleging that Feliciano was trash-talking him about his former University of Georgia teammate that passed away after a January 2023 car crash. An arrest warrant was issued for Carter last March, and it was reported that he was present at the scene of the Jan. 15 crash and later provided "shifting accounts" of the incident to police.

Carter pled no contest to misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and racing in March in connection with the crash and was given 12 months of probation, a $1,000 fine, 80 hours of community service and an order to complete a driving course.

In the wake of the Niners loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII, Feliciano called out teammate Spencer Burford for a supposed missed assignment in the overtime defeat. He later apologized and blamed his reaction on being hungover.

Feliciano referenced the situation with Burford when discussing Carter's alleged words on Tuesday night.

"Y’all can S--t on me for unintentionally back stabbing n hurting Spence. I can take that. N deserve some of it," he posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. "But that JC s--t nawww. Dude wanted to take it to the streets naw I’m too old for that n we in the nfl we got to much to live for. All I’m tryna to do is grow old on my farm."
