According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 in Houston, the San Francisco 49ers are signing running back Brian Hill.

The Atlanta Falcons made Hill (6-1, 219) a fifth-round selection (No. 156 overall) out of Wyoming in 2017. The running back has recorded 982 yards and three touchdowns in 209 carries through his first five NFL seasons, per Pro Football Reference.

Hill, 27, appeared in three games with the 49ers in 2021, playing 46 snaps on special teams.
