The San Francisco 49ers will be without a key cog of the offensive system for the second half of an NFC divisional round game against the Green Bay Packers. After a pair of injuries in the first half, Deebo Samuel was ruled out for the rest of the game.

The official ailment that kept Samuel off the field in the second half is an injury to his left shoulder. He was also evaluated for a concussion earlier in the game.

Samuel finished his day with two catches on two targets for 24 yards. The 49ers led, 7-6, when he was ruled out.

It’s a notable blow, as the 49ers have not won a game this season that Deebo Samuel didn’t complete, as well as seeing notable dropoffs in scoring.
