While it was an ugly bout, the San Francisco 49ers got away from their first preseason game without any injuries during the game.

However, that isn't the case to begin their second preseason game, as wide receiver Danny Gray was ruled out due to a shoulder injury in the first quarter, according to NBC Sports's Matt Maiocco.

Gray appeared to injure himself on the first play of the game while returning a kickoff.

Fellow wideout Ronnie Bell replaced Gray as the kick returner for the second kickoff of the game.

Gray and all the 49ers wideouts had suited up for Saturday's preseason game.
