The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 16 contest against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
The 49ers still await the returns of defensive tackles Arik Armstead and Javon Hargrave to the practice field. Unfortunately, neither starter could make that happen on Thursday, which marked the team's first practice of the week.
Armstead has been grappling with foot and knee issues, while Hargrave is dealing with a hamstring injury. Both missed this past Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
The practice participation report looks similar to what head coach Kyle Shanahan projected during his earlier press conference. Linebacker Oren Burks, tight end Ross Dwelley, and running back Elijah Mitchell did not participate. Furthermore, wide receiver Jauan Jennings remains in the concussion protocol.
Tackle Trent Williams and defensive end Nick Bosa were rested, while cornerback Deommodore Lenoir and guard Spencer Burford practiced. Burford was inactive against the Cardinals, and Lenoir suffered a rib injury late in the game.
