Dylan Robinson of La Verne, Calif. was extended a scholarship offer from UCLA football in early December, the Bruins were the first team to offer the 2025 defensive back. Now, he is scheduled to visit in an official capacity on May 10th according to 247 Sports. UCLA will also be the first school he visits with. He is also scheduled to meet with Utah in June.

Robinson visited with UCLA unofficially shortly after his offer was extended.

UCLA Football’s Recruiting Efforts Escalating

The offer was made under the Chip Kelly regime but with DeShaun Foster, active recruiting efforts have reached a new level. The school recently formally announced the three heads of the recruiting departments; Butler Benton: general manager, Chris Carter: assistant general manager and director of player personnel Stacey Ford.

The 6’6″ 190lbs junior intercepted four passes and defended five more. He racked up 69 tackles, four for loss in 12 games last season for Bonita High School. He also played receiver, catching 22 passes for 514 yards and six touchdowns. On3 ranks Robinson as the 15th-best cornerback in his class.

Robinson has garnered offers from several schools including Penn State, Arkansas, Washington, and the aforementioned Utah. On3 gives UCLA the best odds to land him.
