Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon will be factors in Packers' passing attack

The Packers are looking to replace the passing production of Davante Adams, now with the Raiders, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (Chiefs). Of course, the team will look to Sammy Watkins, Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, along with rookies Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs, to fill the void.

However, there are two other receiving options in Green Bay who could help quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the passing game: running backs Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon.

Jones, the former UTEP star, has been an all-purpose machine in Green Bay. Outside of Derrick Henry, he is the only running back to record more than 4,000 total yards from scrimmage over the past four seasons. He has also recorded 45+ receptions in each of the past three seasons, including a career-high 52 last season.

Jones also set a career high with six touchdown catches in 2021. No. 33 could set career highs in receptions, yards and touchdowns receiving in 2022. A.J. Dillon, who led the Packers in rushing with 803 yards in 2021, also added 34 receptions with 313 receiving yards in his sophomore NFL season.

If Rodgers can get over 600 yards receiving from those two in 2022, Green Bay's passing attack could be in good shape.

Having versatile offensive pieces such Jones and Dillon who can line up anywhere will make this Packers' offense more dynamic.

Matt LaFleur's offense might night not have a 1,000-yard receiver on the roster. However, that might be okay if the team spreads the ball around.
