Aaron Rodgers will be golfing in Green Bay, but will he be playing football for the Packers? Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Aaron Rodgers renews membership at Green Bay Country Club

All signs were pointing toward Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers leaving Green Bay, until Saturday.

According to The Score Wisconsin (h/t TheBigLead.com), Rodgers has renewed his membership at the Green Bay Country Club for the rest of the year. If we're optimistic, this could mean Rodgers will return to Green Bay in 2021, and not just to hit the links.

The pessimistic view would be that Rodgers is just trolling the Green Bay front office. An even-keeled view could mean he's just renewing his membership in the event he does return to the Packers.

The Packers are adamant about not trading Rodgers, but the reigning MVP is serious about not returning to Green Bay unless general manager Brian Gutekunst is fired.

Whatever the case may be, fans shouldn't look into this too much. Rodgers' country club renewal likely doesn't signal he's had a change of heart. So, fans will just have to wait and see what happens.
