Aaron Rodgers: Reported terms of contract with Packers are 'inaccurate'

The widely reported details of MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers' new contract with the Green Bay Packers have now been disputed by No. 12 himself, but "Cheeseheads" need not worry.

News broke Tuesday morning that Rodgers and the Packers agreed on a record-setting, four-year, $200 million deal. Soon after, the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks agreed to a massive blockbuster trade that sends nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson to the Mile High City.

While the Broncos were heavily rumored to be Rodgers' next landing spot if he left Wisconsin, it's been reported that the trade had "nothing to do" with Rodgers' new deal and that Denver had been involved with trade talks with Seattle for "at least two weeks." Rodgers turned 38 in December and was considering retirement.

On Monday, it was reported that Green Bay made a "significant" contract offer to Rodgers. With the quarterback returning, Green Bay is also now set to place the franchise tag on five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams.
