Aaron Rodgers ‘would love’ to be full-time host of ‘Jeopardy!’
Aaron Rodgers isn’t considering retirement just yet. However, the Green Bay Packers quarterback might just find himself with a television deal for his post-NFL career.
Rodgers told Pat McAfee on his podcast, “The Pat McAfee Show,” that he “would love” to be the full-time host of “Jeopardy!” per NFL reporter Dov Kleiman.
Rodgers’ two-week stint as the host of “Jeopardy!” kicks off this week. He told ESPN that he put in hours of study and took notes while preparing for the role. Based on the preview the “Jeopardy!” Twitter account shared on Monday, Rodgers seems like a natural fit for the position.
The 37-year-old is a longtime fan of the show and even won as a contestant on "Celebrity Jeopardy!" in 2015, earning a $50,000 donation to the charity of his choice.
Alex Trebek, the longtime “Jeopardy!” host, died from cancer at the age of 80 in November. Several people have hosted the show since his death, including Ken Jennings, Katie Couric and Dr. Oz. Anderson Cooper and Savannah Guthrie are among the hosts to debut after Rodgers.
