Earlier today, it was reported that former Falcons defensive tackle Abdullah Anderson will be joining the Washington Commanders.

Abdullah Anderson is a journeyman, but he carved out a nice little role along a weak defensive line last year for the Falcons and performed admirably.

I would have liked to have Anderson back as a depth piece. The addition of Onyemata to pair with Grady Jarrett gives the Falcons a strong starting duo on the interior, but this is a group that severely lacks depth. They still need to add multiple pieces before the start of the season, but there remain several quality free agents on the market, and the Falcons have an arsenal of picks in the draft.
